Day 10 found us in the beautiful and historic city of Stirling. An early morning visit to the impressive Wallace Monument, followed by lunch at The Smiddy in Blair Drummond and rounded off with a visit to Stirling Castle. Not a bad day at all!

It's farewell to Oban and onwards to the magical island of Skye. Day 4 saw us visiting the Commando Monument at Spean Bridge, then checking out a view to die for as we drove up the Mam Rattagan to see the Five Sisters of Kintail. Of course, you simply can't drive through Dornie without stopping to see the stunning Eilean Donan Castle...

I had the pleasure of taking Leslie, Penny & Carrie from Nashville, Tennessee to one of my very favourite places... the historic and beautiful Crail Harbour on our way back from a tour of St Andrews. We checked out the castle, cathedral, university, 'that bridge' on the Old Course and the Chariots of Fire beach. No, we didn't re-enact the scene... 😂

I had the great pleasure of taking Irene and Mike to the ancestral home of Clan McNaughton, Dunderave Castle, on Loch Fyne. Although a private home now, we were given permission by the owners for a quick visit. A truly fabulous experience.
