A few days ago I bought shares in two horses as our 2025 Tour Stable. One was Apocalyptic which just ran at Randwick and was VERY unlucky not to win.

She threw her head up as the barriers opened and blew the start, so settled last. Then in the straight she ran into several dead ends and had to stop and start at least twice. Despite that, when in the clear she surged late and almost caught the winner to finish a very unlucky second. See pic, re silks

We have a potential Golden Slipper starter/winner on our hands.

Of course it will be hard to top our 2023 Tour horse, Just Fine, who not only won the G1 Metropolitan but started in the Melbourne Cup.

It's not too late to join the tour and therefore become a part owner in Apocalyptic. Message Geoff asap

Watch the finishing power from this horse. He's putting in Frankel-like bounds to win pulling away. He's trained by Marco Botti in Newmarket and I'm happy to say we are again booked in to visit Marco's yard on the 2025 tour. We must remember to ask to meet Giavellotto if he's there at that time. Well done Marco and crew.

Here's a 'To Do' on one of our 'Free at Leisure' days in London. Visit Buckingham Palace and in particular the Royal Mews around the side and see the King's collection of carriages including the Diamond Jubilee coach. Amazing craftsmanship by Mr Frecklington.

Jim Frecklington, best known as the world's last royal coachmaker, has almost finished a 3-tonne gold-leaf embossed carriage for King Charles III despite undergoing treatment for cancer.

Another great report from Adrian Bott on our 2023 Tour share horse, Just Fine.

Just Fine, our 2023 Tour share horse who won last year's G1 Metropolitan for us, is back in full work with Gai and Adrian and making excellent progress toward this year's big Spring Racing features. Let's hope he makes it to the starting line in the 2024 Melbourne Cup after having been scratched when third favourite last year.
