And it’s a wrap…. goodbye 2024!

We wanted to take a moment to say thank you to our guests who have entrusted us with their most special celebrations this year: there were anniversaries, special (and not so special) birthdays, honeymoons and even a proposal this year at Spinks Nest.

And a big thank you to all our followers for all the support and encouragement throughout the year, it hasn’t been an easy one!

We’re looking forward with excitement to what 2025 has in store for us!

And we have some big news for 2025!

Some of you have already guessed….Riverbank, our home for the last few years, is now available for holiday bookings.

We have meticulously renovated the property with the same attention to detail as Spinks Nest, as it is the small luxuries that make for an unforgettable experience!
​
The interiors are a mix of traditional and modern British design mixed with handpicked vintage items. Expect to find handmade furniture from and wallpapers and fabrics by and amongst others, each of them carefully selected.

Spinks Nest is a finch-sized cottage in the North Norfolk coast offering vintage style and luxurious comfort. it has been extensively renovated using reclaimed materials and vintage finds to give a well worn feel.

Squeezing the most of the bank holiday in North Norfolk before the back to school madness continues next week trying to source the final bits of school uniform, hope you are all more prepared than me! I most definitely ready for school to start again and return to a routine!

R I V E R B A N K - I haven’t shared much about riverbank recently and had a few questions.

Imagined as a second son retreat during the design process, a big sister to Spinks Nest focused on British design and craftsmanship - a modern take on a traditional cottage. It is now our very own retreat

S P I N K S N E S T —— a gadeners cottage ——

When we designed cottage we imagined it as a gardener’s cottage, from the earthy colour palette of browns and greens to the utilitarian kitchen design that was based on a zinc workbench and open shelving, we always had the figure of a gardener at the centre of the concept of Spinks Nest

We are really pleased to have added a collection of floral bowls and jar holders hand thrown in Norfolk for our Spinks Nest gardener by ready for arranging all the spring blooms.

We are so lucky with our guests and have met so many lovely people through hosting at Spinks Nest, i always get so much pleasure from reading the comments on our guest book, a few for you below:
