Geert will be your guide and will show you the Nature in the Brenne.

A few days full of Nature, birds, butterflies, flowers (wild orchids). We’ll visit lots of interesting sites in the Brenne and we’re going to search for Short-toed Eagle, Bee-eater, Hoopoe, Black-winged Stilt, Montagu’s Harrier, Stone Curlew, 9 species of herons, lots of orchids and so on. We will also look at culture and of course the fishingpounds.

This former watermill has produced for more than 100 years wheat, rye flour and walnut oil. Farmers came from far and wide with heavily loaded donkeys and wagons, full of grain and nuts to use the mill. Whilst the miller did his work, the visitors enjoyed a meal and had a bed to sleep in the mill.

We like to continue this tradition, as good food and a sound nights sleep are key to our philosophy. A relaxed and peaceful place with room to breath fresh air and plenty of outdoor activities..... what more do you want! We do our best to meet your needs.
