Routine maintenance and refurbishment is definitely necessary, but can be frustrating if you are caught unaware.
Checking with your Disney Travel Professional can help you avoid, or at least be prepared for, these projects. For example, Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club is down for the next several months for a fluff and buff.

Tip: When a Disney PhotoPass Photographer gives you direction such as how to pose or where to look, ask them for clarification. For example, if they ask you to look surprised, ask them if the surprise is good or shocking. It will give you a better idea of how to react to get the most magical shot!

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts starts this Friday the 17th and runs through February 24th. Not to play favorites, but this festival has to be my number one.

The new Lightning Lane system launches tomorrow. In preparation, make sure you have a conversation with your group to ensure you are all on the same page as to what rides and times you are reserving (keep in mind that the rides are tiered) and take a moment to update your My Disney Experience app tonight. If it’s been awhile since you were last in there, you may also want to take a few minutes to play around and reaquaint yourself to make tomorrow a little easier!
