Well this was an amazing first for me. Seeing the beautiful aurora lights from Thunder Point. I took these on my phone, except for the pic of me that was taken by a kind person with a brand new iPhone, lol. I stayed up there for two hours just looking at the sky and stars. To the naked eye, the colours are not so intense as in the photos, but the sky did get quite red at one stage. Beautiful.
