Part 2 of our trek in Nepal: Ulleri to Ghorepani to Tadapani! This took 2 days of our planned 4 day trek in the Annapurna. The team at went beyond to make this an unforgettable trip. It started with the personal service from Naba planning this to our lovely trekking guide, Krishna and last but not least the porters who move the trekkers' luggage from one place to another in the circuits. Their work is never underestimated in the Himalayas. They have the fitness and strength that can challenge any weightlifter!!

Namaste from beautiful Nepal! A place that has exceeded our expectations in its heavenly beauty! Touched by the warmth of the people and humbled by the majesty of its mountains, this trek of the Annapurna P**n Hill circuit is the first but not the last.

This circuit takes 4 days to complete starting from an altitude of 1500 meters to 3200 meters. The circuit takes you from one village to another in the Annapurna region. Accommodation is spent in simple tea houses. The trek offers magnificent views of some of the highest mountains of the Himalayas!

This trek is recommended for families with children. Having said that a good level of stamina and fitness are required!

Our girls proved once again what great sports they are! Very proud of them!

We are on a trekking trip in Nepal with the girls. A local expert helpes us arrange this in the best possible way.
After a trip to Kathmandu, followed by a domestic flight to Pokhara and then a 2 hour drive, we made it to Hile. It's exactly what we have been craving! Nature in its complete form!
Day one: trekking from Hile to Ulleri! 3500 steps is what it takes to get to the tea house, our base for the night!
Krishna, our guide is the sweetest and most helpful. Porters are also part of this local culture and they have a stamina that could challenge any professional athlete!

We are very grateful to everyone that supported us in our impromptu initiative.
We had planned to climb Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the UK with the girls. However, following the brutal bombardment of civilians in Gaza, we decided to raise funds for Palestine Children's Relief Fund.
The response was great and emotional in every aspect.
It was extremely touching to get support from different hikers on Ben Nevis shouting out Palestine or giving us the thumbs up.
Two hikers even donated on the spot!
Thanks to all friends and family who poured their hearts into this.

We summited the highest mountain in the !
was a spectacular hike to reach the summit at an elevation of 1345 meters or 4400 feet.

Highlights from our hike in Wadi Al Abadila!
As we didn't get much rain lately, the wadi is dry apart from a couple of shallow pools around the farms.

With the weather warming up, please plan your hikes safely and remember the following:

*Make an early start and plan to be finished with your hike by 10 am!
*keep hydrated!
*Apply sunscreen and don't forget your hats
*Have a first aid kit with you
*Plan your hike and trail. Mark where you have parked your car and don't lose yourself in the wadis.
*we are intruding the habitat of many animals and insects. Respect the environment.
*depending on the season, insect bites could be more likely. Be prepared, cover up and have some medication with you!
*don't take unnecessary risks!

Enjoy your hike and always remember first.

Nothing beats a day out in the wadi, the Arabic word for a valley!

The wadis after the rainfall this January have filled up and and the pools make it more exciting.

Always remember the safety measures and make sure you are well prepared.
