The house was originally built in 1926 and was owned by a few prominent Amarillo families through the years.� I was a little disappointed since it bills itself to be an Amarillo original.�

I looked at the TPWD web site and found Lake Somerville State Park .� In just under two hours, I arrived at� Lake Somerville State Park and reserved a camp site for the evening.
