AMARILLO!
Some unique shopping on Historic Route 66, a surprise chance meeting of the new caretaker of Cadillac Ranch, a true cowgirl adventure and much more! Amarillo did not disappoint! http://24intx.com/2014/08/20/amarillo/

The house was originally built in 1926 and was owned by a few prominent Amarillo families through the years.� I was a little disappointed since it bills itself to be an Amarillo original.�

LAKE SOMERVILLE!

I looked at the TPWD web site and found Lake Somerville State Park .� In just under two hours, I arrived at� Lake Somerville State Park and reserved a camp site for the evening.
