Good afternoon from Portland!

Update: The Portland port is an industrial port...which means no "walk off on your own". So Disney arranged for a steady line of double decker busses to provide transport to Portland Castle (5 minute ride) and into the town of Weymouth (20 minute ride).

🚌 We boarded a waiting bus at the port and off we went. We skipped the castle and headed into Weymouth. The town was a cute seaside town with everything you'd expect including a draw bridge.

👜 We shopped and got some sweet treats!

🚢 When it was time to sail away, the Portland Choir came...as a surprise...to sing us off! As well as, residents dressed in traditional 1815 military uniforms and shot a cannon! Oh and Mickey joined us!

Good morning from Ireland!

Update: Ireland did not disappoint!

🚌 We traveled by bus from Cobh to Kinsale. It was the perfect weather and perfect little town. I'm still not sure how the driver did it...
🚶‍♀️ Whike we were admiring the steps and the boys were running up them, a local older gentleman stopped us and shared the story of "the stone steps". That is how they used to referred. They were just stone climbing up and this was how the kids went to school.
🧱Charles Fort was great to explore. We learned that is used to be open to.the public and you could just freely camp there...and that for a time a group of hippies moved in and stayed for quite some time!

Good morning from Scotland!

Update: It was great day!
🌈 We started out with a beautifully bright rainbow when getting off the ship, followed by a bagpiper playing for us!
🚌 We took a bus to Stirling and walked around the cutest cobblestone streets and shopped at some small shopes.
🍽 Then we headed off to 'Birds & Bees' for a traditional lunch of steak pie with apple and berry pie for dessert.
🛥 We ended the day at Falkirk Wheel on the Scottish Chanels.

Here's a run down on how the new Multi Pass worked for us today.

*it picked around dining reservations and then I modified to fit our wants. I stacked them as you can see. It was even going to let me stack Figment at 315-415, but we like to meander through the countries and snack! I can still modify them at this point and as the day goes on.
At 7am got a virtual queue (VQ)for Guardians group 79
*estimated call back 209pm

Also....picked next & modified LL selections
*after 2nd scan on Figment could pick a new park and LL

Finally called for Guardians at 421p
*stopped at Club Cool on our way

We ended up just people watching and then headed over to Beaches & Cream for a walk up reservation. We didn't have the best luck with LL today, but with few rides at Epcot, our late start due to a late arrival and our VQ kept getting pushed, we did our best.

Overall, we still like the new Multi Pass. It works very similar to the old FastPass+ and a little better. As soon as we either used or canceled a ride...we could pick another...in any park (as long as you have park hopping abilities). Crowds were medium today. So the park favorites were gone early for pre-planning, but don't give up....we saw quite a few popular rides pop back in throughout the day.

One con....you are using the phone a bit more again. Don't forget those fuel rods!

Let's Travel!

Disney's Aulani Resort and Spa is the most beautiful resort I have stayed in. The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable. The food was delicious. The characters remind you that this is a Disney property, without being overwhelming. This is one "Disney" vacation that is actually relaxing!
