Do you know the story of the Oswald & Al Michaels trade?
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was one of Walt Disney's first successful animated characters, while he worked for Universal. Totally resembles Mickey Mouse right? During a contract dispute, Walt unknowingly lost the rights of Oswald to Universal.
He pivoted and then created Mickey Mouse (and also vowed that noone would ever own his work again).
Almost a century later, sportscaster Al Michaels wanted out of his contract with ABC, so he could join NBC's new takeover of Sunday Night Football.
Bob Iger (CEO of Disney, who also owns ABC) said NBC could have Al Michaels, as long as they got Oswald back.
NBC said "Who's Oswald?" and then quickly agreed to the trade.
So Oswald is back in the Disney family now (but rarely appears in new productions).

One of the first things to decide when planning a Disney trip is where you're going to sleep. If you choose to stay on Walt Disney World's property, there are so many breathtaking spaces to settle into.
Whether you're on a tighter budget or if you want to experience a vacation within a vacation, I can help you navigate through the choices to find the perfect resort! With the myriad of additional activities available at each one, you'll want to do more than just sleep here!
They're all incredibly different and come with different perks and advantages (and will ALL just make you saw WOW).
One of those advantages for all of the resorts is early entry into the parks. If experiencing more attractions is important to you, this alone is a major advantage.
Not to mention the free parking at the resorts AND parks, and the transportation options to and from the parks AND Disney Springs.
You don't have to stay on property of course, but it can definitely add some magic (and ease) to your vacation!
