Golden Gate Bridge 💙

I love this unique view of the Golden Gate Bridge! 😍 🌁 😍⁠

First, because this is a view that you'll just never be able to see on your own, so we need the help of a drone to see it. ⁠
⁠
(I should mention here that it is not actually legal to fly drones around the GGB anymore, so please don't get yourself in trouble!) 👮 👮‍♀️⁠
⁠
But also, you get to see how difficult it is to paint this bridge the famous color that we know and love! On any given day, you may see the workers going through the bridge and doing some painting over the rough spots in the paint. But to get to these towers, it's a huge effort and very difficult. So that's how the paint can get just a liiiittle bit dirty up there!⁠

Thankfully though, when people are normally taking photos of the bridge, it's from a farther distance so it all looks as beautiful as we remember it. 😎⁠

TOUR GUY TIP: There is a common story that workers start painting the bridge on one end, go all the way across, and when they arrive at the other end they start all over again. But as you can see here, that's not true (otherwise it would look much better!) Normally they just go around examining the whole bridge and painting over the trouble spots. And sometimes you'll see the workers hanging off the side of the towers--it looks incredibly scary! 😱 😱 😱⁠

LARGEST TREE IN THE WORLD
Location : Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park in Tulare County, California, USA.
The General Sherman Tree is the world's largest tree, measured by volume. It stands 275 feet (83 m) tall, and is over 36 feet (11 m) in diameter at the base. Sequoia trunks remain wide high up. Sixty feet above the base, the Sherman Tree is 17.5 feet (5.3 m) in diameter.

It is estimated to be around 2,300 to 2,700 years old.
