twohundredmiles.com Follow me and ride with me everywhere, I promise to make it fun Twohundredmiles.com? Why the name? Again, more or less…I can hear some of you already. Really?

Two hundred miles is more or less the distance you can travel on a Harley before needing to refuel. I can go 238 miles. Well, twohundredthirtyeight or twohundredeleven just didn’t have the same ring. So welcome to twohundredmiles.com We want to share all of the fun we have in between stopping for fuel with fellow riders and travelers alike, no matter your means of transportation. That said, twohu

ndredmiles is not only about sharing our fun, but also attempting to be a source of information that comes from our personal experiences. When starting this blog, we were setting out on our first cross country trip from Miami to San Francisco and found there was not a lot out there in the way of resources, especially for high end travel road trippers. We are not pros, we are just like you, we like to travel, to explore and immerse ourselves in every bit of what the area has to offer along the way, but we want to do it on the back of motorcycle. We will make mistakes, we will make things right, but at the end we will share it all, so if tomorrow you want to do a similar trip you can have a starting point. This first trip will be on a Harley and will start in Miami taking us through 19 cities, 10,000 years of North American history on the Natchez Trace Parkway, four of Utah’s National Parks, Big Sur and conclude in San Francisco, with a lot of zig zagging in between. We’ll do a total of 5,000 miles in 25 days, taking some time to stop, see and enjoy the ride. I don’t know if this is good news, but this is not the Motel 6, camping, sleeping bag, fast food, not showering in days kind of trip. We work hard so we can play hard – at some of the nicer playgrounds. Although some of the spots along the way leave something to be desired in the way of hotel accommodations, but opened us up to creative options, like Moab Under Canvas, where we are “Glamping.” We will try to share as much as possible, either video, photos or articles, in hope of being your new source of information and we promise to make it fun to watch. If you like the blog we hope you help us by sharing this with other people, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you want extra inside information. We will be happy to answer your questions.

Who knew the drive here, 10 miles on a wooded winding road, would be equally as spectacular as these ruins from an antebellum Greek Revival mansion that was burnt to the ground in 1890.
