Hutavo Blato” swamp is a green oasis with an abundance of fresh water, which makes it suitable for several bird and animal species. The Nature Park Hutovo Blato features several majestic lakes, which are interconnected with many channels and gullies. Sutjeska National Park is the oldest and largest national park in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It includes the area of Sutjeska with Strict Nature Reserve Perućica, parts of mountains Maglić, Volujak, Vučevo and Zelengora. Sutjeska is the most diverse complex of ecosystems in Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of most diverse in South-Eastern Europe. Breath-taking scenery and diversity of landscapes – ranging from mild valleys, dense forest complexes, mountain pastures to high mountain massifs are found throughout the Park. It is home to rare and endemic wild and plant life. Boka Kotorska, or Kotor Bay, is a place of striking natural beauty. It is a vast, butterfly-shaped expanse of water surrounded by awe-inspiring mountain scenery. Kotor Bay is remarkable for its wonderful coastal landscape and many picturesque villages and towns that dot the shoreline. At the head of the bay lies the old town of Kotor, one of the most exquisitely preserved medieval centres in the Mediterranean. Its alleyways open out onto piazzas, churches and palaces. Durmitor National Park comprises of Mount Durmitor plateau and the valley formed by the canyon of the River Tara, incorporating three major geomorphologic features: canyons, mountains and plateaux. Because of its geographical location and range in altitude, the park is under the influence of both Mediterranean and alpine microclimates, which has resulted in an exceptional range of species.
