is truly a paradise for seafood enthusiasts, and my experience with was easily one of the best food tours I’ve had to date. If you’re in Freycinet, this tour is an absolute must!

We started by tasting oysters fresh from the ocean—an unforgettable experience and something that has been on my bucket list for years! Each oyster was so fresh and delicious that I could have eaten dozens! The mussels were another highlight; buttery, tender, and perfectly cooked, they made me a fan even though I wasn’t a mussel lover before.

For those who may not have time for the tour or prefer different seafood, the restaurant at Freycinet Marine Farm is worth the visit on its own. Their seafood menu has something for everyone, and the garlic butter scallops deserve a special mention—10/10, no notes, just perfection!

Whether you’re a seafood connoisseur or just curious to try fresh, local flavors, this experience is not to be missed.

✨ New Tour Alert ✨

We are happy to announce that we now offer oyster farm/wine tours. We have been running them on selective days for the last couple of months and getting lots of positive feedback from our guests.

The tour includes your oyster farm experience at but then a winery tour and tasting at the fantastic

The tour goes for 4 hours and includes oysters, mussels, a cheese plate and wine tasting.

If you enjoy your seafood and fantastic award winning wines this is the perfect afternoon for you.

Busy day of tours today! First day of the season we have three tours running!

It's nice to be back down at the farm early morning to soak in the view before the day begins.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OYSTER BAY TOURS! 🥳

Yesterday marked 6 years since oyster Bay tours ran their first tour. It is amazing how much we have grown since those early days. The Akubra has changed colour and there's a few more sun-induced wrinkles but it's all worth it to see the smiling faces on our guests as they discover some of the best oysters in the world.

Is exciting times and we are ready to gear up for another epic season!

Thank you to all our guests who have come on the tours, without you we don't have a business so thank you. Most about bookings that referred by word of mouth and so that couldn't be possible without you.

Oysters and Mussels may be our focus on tour but we often find all sorts of marine life to look at.

This young sourthen rock lobster was hiding amongst the mussels during harvest.

We put him back in the water under a rock so hopefully no birds spotted him! 🦅

Pardon the PDA but today we celebrate 10 years of marriage. I love my wife Patrea more and more each year and she is the true brains(and beauty) behind our small business.
I love the life we are building for our family and look forward to many years to come!

That's a wrap on the easter long weekend! What a crazy 6 days! Hundreds of oyster, kilos of mussels, several bottle of wine and lovely guests, and to top it all off, 30mls of rain!

In these photos you will see a guide who doesn't know what day is it is and smiles like Wallace from Wallace and Gromit. The mud pit the farm turned into. But also all alternative set up for when it poring with rain.
