Although Casa del las Olas is not directly on the Beach, after leaving the property, your toes will hit the sand about 100 yards later. The local area is very well known for its Surfing, its Beauty, local friendliness, and various other activities that are available. Besides the Beach, visiting Guests have exclusive use of two "soft-top" surfboards; two "Beach Cruiser" style bicycles; hammocks; an
d numerous other amenities to make your stay enjoyable. The house is a two-bedroom, two-bath private residence located in an exceptional area of Tamarindo that's close enough to walk to town but, yet, is far enough away from the town's activities. Although the house is not some multi-million dollar villa, it is very comfortable in size with a front terrace that has two hammocks; a private rear yard with a "Rancho" (a palm leafed structure) that has a hammock awaiting your slumber; and a BBQ area (sorry, no pool at this time). I am honored to have many, many returning Guests that have enjoyed the house on multiple vacations, - I'm continually told that the pictures don't do the house justice; the location is exceptional due to the safe beach in front of the house and the proximity to town; and that it is one of the best "values" in the area when one compares what you get for the very reasonable nightly rate.
