Last weekend, I was honoured to to have been the Lead Organiser for an event on Mount Mulanje, in an effort to raise awareness about the mountain's conservation issues. The event was graced by the Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Culture; Dr Michael Usi and our headliner was the award winning Malawi musician; Lawi Phiri Matsobane. Sitting around a bonfire at Chisepo Hut (2,219m above sea level), his guitar and voice entertained the 80 hikers that came along. Below is a 2 minute snapshot of what he dished out.
