Great day for visiting the Concordia Peace Bell yesterday. A reminder of the millenium year - 2000.
The bell is sited at the peak of the Kronplatz mountain, situated on the main ridge spanning the Alps and the Dolomites.
Often referred to as the 'Peace Bell' it rings for only 3 things - Reversing of a death sentence anywhere in the world End of a war anywhere Mid-day exactly on every day of the year.
Truly a memorable sight and sound to behold.

Dining in rifugio Plan Boe above Arabba sure was an experience, and we are happy that they are now open in the evening every day this season as we would love to do another visit!
