Sometimes I just like to stop and take in the scenery and appreciate life. This was one of those moments, and then the snow machine suddenly starting making snow exactly where I was. Did I care that I was being covered in snow in -15C weather? No. I just sat there laughing how stunning this place was and how much I love snowboarding. Sometimes you just need to stop and appreciate.

It's now been 2 years since I've left my job and 700 days since I started this trip. As you can imagine I've had a few people tell me what I "should" be doing lately with my life, so I thought I'd write about it. Quick spoiler: I've already worked out that if I retire at the age of 75 then I've still got roughly 16,000 more days to go. I'm in no rush to be doing what I "should" be doing.

We camped in tents, couchsurfed and also slept in our car when road tripping out east in Canada. For a 3 week road trip I spent £53/$70US on accommodation. Travelling really doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

Island hopping around the Anderman Islands. Woke up at 545am to beat the queues, and still there were no seat tickets available. So I just parked myself on the floor and had the best view on the boat. Sometimes you don't need "luxuries" to travel and have an awesome experience. And yes, sadly having a chair for a 5 hour ferry ride, now counts as a luxury! 😂🙈

Want to hear something crazy?!? The Andaman Islands are 1200km away from mainland India but still operate on Indian time. This means they're a few hours out from what they time zone they should be on, so the sun rises before 5am and locals start work at 6am. This is me catching sunrise before 5am.
