EUROPE 2024 TRAVELS UPDATE – Flock of geese swimming down a canal!
While walking doggie Ollie along the canal in Abcoude one day...
I suddenly saw a huge flock of geese who were regally swimming along the canal!
That's a sight you don't see every day!
So I stopped to video their journey...

One day we had a ball, so I ended up repeatedly throwing into the river for Mora...
Over and over again...until I finally left the river to head home...
I'm sure Mora would have continued for hours! Lol

Hardly any other people out there!

I walked the entire length of Central Park, from north at 110th street down to 60th St
In the middle of the park is the massive Reservoir....
...which provides unbelievable panoramic views of the skyscrapers lining the east side of Central Park

TRAVEL UPDATE FLORIDA – First day's weather in Alaska...
AS you can see & hear from this short video clip, it's a great day to stay INSIDE!
I took this video of the back yard, from inside the warm house!
Although it is very windy and rainy, the temperatures are rather 'balmy' for Alaska in winter – in the low 40sF / 6-8C. Not too bad, really.
Luckily, I have enough food to eat for today and can just stay inside..
...fingers crossed the weather will be better tomorrow when I'll have to venture out to get groceries and pick up a car...
Sorry there's not more to report from my first day in Alaska!

He had a unique style of music and clothing...
...which he toured around all of Brazil, making a huge name for himself
...and taking music from Pernambuco throughout the country.

As I noted yesterday, I spent one full day at Rio's vast Botanical Gardens...
Besides all the huge trees, specialized gardens, ponds and forests...
I spent some time watching a troupe of black monkeys foraging under and in some huge trees with apple-like fruits...

TRAVEL UPDATE SOUTH AMERICA – Ever heard of the animal called 'coati' ?
Coatiis are small racoon-like animals found all over Latin America...
I first encountered coatiis in Mexico back in 2016...
...where a friend of a friend had a coati pet and I got to hang out with him.
Coatiis are very cute, with beautiful striped tails and black eye patches...
BUT, like racoons, coatiis can be very aggressive and dangerous about taking food.
They're a problem for tourists eating in Iguazu National Park...

TRAVEL UPDATE SOUTH AMERICA – Video of Devil's Throat Waterfall at Iguazu...
Iguazu Falls consists of over 120 waterfalls spread out together over 1 mile wide!
The most massive surge of water forms a huge U shaped falls called Devil's Throat.
The water is so powerful that the massive spray thrown up in the air often completely blocks out views of the falls and sends heavy torrents of water blasting onto all the visitors standing on the platform nearby!
It's an experience, not just a waterfall view!
It was also quite challenging to take photos between blasts of cold water drenchings!
But I got a video of the roaring Devil's Throat far a distance...
..notice on the left side... the tiny people on the platform for size perspective.
