New regulations from 01.01.2018 for fishing in Norway for foreign visitors. Please share with your fishing friends.
Anglers from all over the world are welcome to Norway for fishing.
For Salmon fishing there is a state licence of approx EUR 25 http://fiskeravgift.miljodirektoratet.no/ in addition to the local license. For other freshwater fishing there is normally a small fee per day or week, except for some of the biggest lakes.
For salt water fishing there is no licence. Every tourist may bring 10 kg fish out of the country. However, if you stay with a registerd fishing camp, that reports the catches every day to the authorities, you may bring 20 kg, which is 5 kg more than before.
