The travel industry has been my career for over 30 years and the last 15 months have been a struggle like many other industries... but now it’s time to get things moving again!

I won’t be there in person today but I’m proud to be supporting all my friends & colleagues from the Travel Industry to support “Travel Day of Action” at Westminster and across the country.

We all stand together... cruise lines travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, airlines, airports, to name a few.

Enough is enough!

We are asking for the immediate restart of safe international travel , for the government to be transparent with their decisions and provide proper industry support to the Travel Industry like they have offered other industries.

🤩✈️ TRAVEL IS BACK & WE HAVE A COVID CERTIFICATE SYSTEM! ✈️🤩
As of today, it is no longer illegal to travel abroad to certain holiday destinations... WAHOO! 😍

As of yesterday, the NHS App is now live with your COVID-19 certificate to show you’ve been vaccinated, many countries will require proof of this to allow you to enter. As per the below you can see it shows I have had my 1st dose...👏🏼 it takes 2 minutes to set up, & don’t worry if you don’t know your NHS number, you can still access it. Should you not have a smart phone, you can call 119 and they will get you a paper version - make sure you request this with plenty of time to spare as the demand might be high and it might take a while - it’s not yet known but why risk it?!

Please make sure you are checking the Gov website for all the correct departure and return to UK info - as this will be constantly changing over the next few months.
