The route to the Troodos mountains lies just above Secret Valley and boast charming villages along the way. A new highway runs to all corners of Cyprus but the old coastal route is the most scenic one. Nearby Paphos consists of two towns, each with its very own character. Ktima on the cliff (Upper Paphos) remained virtually unchanged over the centuries and is thoroughly Cypriot whilst Kato Paphos by the sea (Lower Paphos) has expanded over the last decade into a vibrant cosmopolitan resort with a vast variety of bars & restaurants. However, small villages inland such as Kouklia (just 2 minutes from our villa - shown below)) let you experience the rural Cyprus and friendly local culture. In short - Cyprus and Secret Valley really offer something for everyone and a great climate all year around.
