Here are 5 things you may not know about a travel agent:

1️⃣ I do not travel for free! While it can be possible I’ll have the opportunity to earn travel discounts through my career (so that I have ability to attend more research trips to get insider info for my clients), I pay for my personal trips out of my own pocket just like my clients do.
2️⃣ I’m only paid commission by the companies / suppliers I book vacations through for my clients. And though I work incredibly hard with and for my clients prior to their travels, I’m not paid until AFTER they get home from their vacations, and if they cancel I receive no commission.
3️⃣ Though I mostly post tropical destinations, I am registered with many travel supplier as well (different cruise lines, all-inclusive resorts, etc.) So if you have an international dream vacation destination in mind, please reach out. I also do group travel.
4️⃣ It doesn’t take more time to work with a travel agent like myself. It saves you time! As a travel agent, I do the research FOR you, put together vacation quotes, make payments for you, put together vacation itineraries for you, etc.! I do not charge any extra booking fees.
5️⃣ I discover most of my clients via social media & referrals! I am fortunate to work with family and friends on their vacations too. And when people recommend my services to others, it means the absolute world to me!

🚨CANCUN AIRPORT ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE🚨
Starting August 01, from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., only 2 lanes will be available leaving Cancun and 1 entering (for the next 18 months...)
It is reported that the rehabilitation work of the Mexico 30 Reforma Agraria – Puerto Juárez highway, Boulevard Colosio section, will have a contraflow lane, a reversible lane for times of greater capacity and a normal lane in the direction of the center to the airport.
To facilitate transfers during the hours of greatest influx, the vehicular flow from 12:00am to 2:00pm will be two lanes from north to south, that is, from the center to the Cancun International Airport and a return lane, from the airport terminal towards the city.
On the contrary, from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., the traffic will be two lanes from south to north from the airport to Cancun and one from the city to the exit of the municipality.
The rehabilitation in this first section takes approximately four weeks for 1,300 meters and the total work will take around 450 days.
Transfer companies are aware of this information and should schedule your clients accordingly, so if you see any extra early pick up times, you will know why. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!!!
