Goingwhere started as an idea way back, after many frustrating attempts to find the ideal holiday destination, we decided to launch a new accommodation website, specifically to have a list of all camping sites in Southern Africa. Along the way, technology changed, and we designed a new website, launched in 2015, which was more interactive and fun to use. With technology ever changing, the way peop

le use the Internet, and the digital age that we live in, change was needed again, and thus in 2021 we launched the current site, that we are very proud of! We are striving to be the most comprehensive Accommodation and Camping website in Southern Africa, and we are well on our way to become one of the biggest and most popular destinations on the web. Indabushe is situated in the beautiful Schoemanskloof valley on the N4, en route to the Kruger National Park and Mozambuiqe.

Apart from a well situated stop over we offer enough activities for the nature lover such as: Hiking trail, Quad trails, Moutain biking and Birding to keep them occupied for a couple of days.

Schoemanskloof is a valley approximately 50km long and runs in a west to easterly direction. The valley rises in the Highveld and drops down into the Lowveld.

Old Thomas River Village

homas River, named in 1801, takes its name from an English deserter, Thomas Bentley. Part of Van Der Kemps missionary, Bentley was killed by a poison Bushman Arrow while crossing the river, thus duly named Thomas River.

The original train station, sited between the stone forts, dates from the late 1870’s with the new station coming into being in 1926. The station saw its last train in 1948 when the new line opened.

Thomas River Historical Village, reborn in 2003, has been passionately restored by Jeff and Ann Sansom to take you back to yesteryear.
