We would like to thank all those guests who chose to stay at Island Star Cottage since inception 5 years ago. You helped make the Cottage a success on Airbnb.
We decided late last year that we would be turning the cottage in to a full time rental suite which we have now done, so we will no longer be offering Airbnb bookings. This helps in the extremely tight rental market in our community. Thanks

If you enjoy bird watching, this area is a good place to come! We can help you with places to go and species you are likely to see. Walking the beaches at low tide are great places to see Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons and numerous species of waterfowl and shorebirds. You are guaranteed to see the bright yellow Goldfinches right from your window along with other species attracted to the water features and of course the feeder.
