Now that we are home and off of our fantastic cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy, let’s talk the Disney difference.
First up is the staterooms. These rooms are super spacious and provide much more than other cruise lines. My travel party had three oceanview staterooms with verandahs in a row, and two were connecting. Each stateroom had a queen sized bed, living room area with couch and desk, and a split bathroom, which is a game changer. One bathroom had a sink and shower/bathtub (so convenient to have a bathtub when traveling with kids!) and the other bathroom has the toilet and another sink so multiple people can get ready at once. There was ample closet and drawer space, as well as under bed storage. Each day, a dedicated stateroom attendant will come and clean up for you, and while you are at dinner they come get your room ready for bed. The couch can turn into a single bed if needed, and a second single bed can descend from the ceiling if needed (pictured). We were also able to request a pack and play and Diaper Genie for Lorelai, and my cousins were able to request bed rails for their daughter. Each night, we also received delightful towel animals and chocolates. SO MUCH is included when you sail with Disney, and you feel the difference in every aspect!
