There's so much to do on Beautiful Bute tonight, I hope you've had a disco nap! Starting at 7pm, there's a ceilidh at Bute Yard. If you're looking for some great live music, you'll find it at the The Anchor Tavern, the The Galatea Bar, Rothesay, the Golfers Bar, and the Taverna Bar Rothesay. Karaoke is on at the The Grapes Bar, and the The Islander Bar. If you've still got some energy left after all that, the Ritz is open until 2am 🎶🎸🎤🪩🎄🎅

Visit Bute has been gallivanting on holiday again and, this time, actually left the island! My first trip to Paris was amazing! It’s such a beautiful and impressive city, the vibe is so utterly cool, and the scale of it is breath-taking.🗼 I couldn’t help thinking, though: apart from the scale, what does Paris have that Bute doesn’t? 🤔 Churches, beautiful houses, beautiful gardens, museums, art, music, fashion, castles, rivers and seas: Paris and Bute have them all. In Bute we have the advantage of enjoying all these things without massive crowds and massive queues 😁 It’s great to travel and expand our horizons with new places and new experiences. But there’s no feeling better than being on that ferry and seeing Rothesay Harbour come into view and knowing we’re back home.
