onders that Aruba has to offer you - so do not forget your camera. Relax in the air-conditioned comfort of your bus with your shore excursion guide, for an educational and interesting day cruise excursion in Aruba. Your first stop on this amazing Caribbean island will be at the Aloe Vera Factory and Museum. In 1840 aloe became a very important part of Aruba's history. You will learn that almost two thirds of the island was covered in aloe vera plants at one time, making it the largest exporter of aloe in the world. You will have the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art factory and it's neighboring museum. Your next stop will be at Casibari Rock Formation which is truly a natural wonder! This famous rock formation is a cluster of huge rocks. Some of the rocks weigh several tons and have taken on some peculiar and unusual forms over the years. If you are a hiker, reaching the top of the formation allows you to take in breathtaking views of the island. The Government of Aruba has created walking trails and steps throughout the formation, allowing you to see and photograph some of the rocks unique characteristics. The Natural Bridge will be your third stop. You will be able to get up close to this amazing formation of coral limestone. Once one of the world's largest natural spans, it stood 23 feet above sea level and spanned more than 100 feet across. The Natural Bridge collapsed in 2005, but just as amazing is the baby bridge standing nearby, which is a smaller version of the Natural Bridge. Next you will be heading to visit the Alto Vista Chapel. It is a peaceful and harmonic place surrounded by the Aruban countryside. This chapel has been part of Aruba's history since 1750 when it was built by a Spanish missionary on the site of the first Catholic Church constructed on the island. Your final stop will be at the famous California Light House. This light house was named after the ship "The California", made famous by receiving distress signals from the Titanic the night she sank in 1912. This region offers some of the most striking views of Aruba. At the end of this sightseeing cruise shore excursion in Aruba you will be taken back to your Aruba cruise ship terminal.
