The Dragon Blood Tree, found only on the remote island of Socotra, is a true wonder of nature. Its crimson sap, known as “dragon’s blood,” has been surrounded by myths for centuries.

Legend says the tree was born from a fierce battle between a dragon and an elephant. As their blood mingled on the ground, the first Dragon Blood Tree emerged, a symbol of power and resilience.

Used as medicine, dye, and even a magical potion, “dragon’s blood” was once traded across ancient routes. With its striking shape and unique survival in Socotra’s desert climate, this tree is as much a scientific marvel as it is a mythical one.
