A few chilly days in Cape Town! Fun in the Bo-Kaap neighborhood then we discovered the beautiful drive down through Clifton and Camps Bay. Cape of Good Hope where the Atlantic and Indian oceans merge and Table Mountain National Park. The rugged and beautiful coastline led us to a visit to Simon’s Town and the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. To end our day we finally made the cable car to Table Mountain when the weather cleared but brrrrrr. Definitely have experienced at least 3 seasons in a day!

Well today topped the cake for hold time with a cruise line…..
I had client meetings today via phone and in person and multitasked all 7 hours on hold. What a day! Travel advisors work hard to make sure trips go as planned and all the details are in place 🌎✈️🛳️🏨

Well deserved! Hands down one of the best meals we had in Portugal. Amazing food and service.

How do you combat jetlag? For me it’s getting back to my routines as quickly as possible, and water. So 12 hours after arrival home, I was back to working off that cheese and pasta .

Also my workout has given me lifelong friends and travel mates. Thankful to my Jazzer friends who joined me on my recent adventures and icing on the cake when your instructor happens to be on the same flight home

What can I say? Don’t miss it if you love food! Our only regret is we didn’t have enough time. Bologna, the capital of the Emilia Romagna area (think balsamic, Parma, mortadella…), is a vibrant 11th century university town. Our guide was funny and shared his sarcastic wit about local living. Loving all the food and history. 🇮🇹

today's laugh....On hold with United Airlines to solve some complicated schedule change problems. After about 30 minutes the agent needs to put me on hold and go to higher level to get the issue resolved. He comes back and in his happiest voice says "Good News" long pause..."the hold time is 15 minutes for the next level" and I burst into laughter and he laughed with me, "now we can both take a break and listen to the music". I loved how he lightened the mood with one simple thing. Travel is complicated right now, and as an advisor I spend hours on the phone, brightened my faith in humanity.
