One thing I'll be grateful to COVID-19 for, probably the ONLY thing, is that I got back into my scrapbooking. And while I took it slow, trying to get my creative juices flowing, I'm still surprised by how much scrapbooking I've gotten done since I started working from home. While I was scrapping these photos, I discovered some interesting things about scrapbooking, like how the papers you choose can evoke the emotions you felt in the moment you are putting onto a layout. I decided to put together a quick video for scrapbookers on how to put together a kit with coordinating papers, and embellishments. It might seem obvious, but not everyone does it. I used to stick to collection kits, or subscription kits and then had all these leftovers that accumulated over time that just sat there. Now before I shop, I kit together what I can so that I'm ready to get to play in my craft room without having to search high and low. And it works! I'm definitely more productive crafting now.
