Our home is a beautifully remodeled 3-bedroom, 2-bath beach condo located in Port Hueneme, California, on the lovely Hueneme Beach. A single-level, ground floor home, it has easy living tile throughout, with soft, plush rugs where you want them; a fabulous kitchen with quartz countertops and eat-around island, over-island pot rack... this kitchen has a powerful blender, crockpot, hotel-style waffle irons, high wattage microwave, large oven, rice cooker... all the amenities! Relax in the unique, custom tile bathrooms you'll have to see to believe, and marvel at the sparkling recessed lighting throughout - you'll see what we mean!
The master bedroom is furnished with a pillowy queen-size bed, built-in desk, lighted reading nook, and an antique Indonesian mahogany armoire. The second and third bedrooms are furnished for children/teens; the boys' room has a loft full size mattress and a queen size futon, two comfy sea grass chairs and snack table, and easy clothes storage baskets. Our daughter's room has a full-size mattress on a curly white, wrought iron bed, an antique chair and antique dresser, and white lace curtains. The living room features a sofa sleeper, with bedding tucked away in the sea grass ottoman. The condominium is a single-level unit located on the ground floor. It sleeps 5 or 6 comfortably, but could accommodate as many as 9 on occasional nights.
The home is artistically decorated throughout with an ocean and beach theme. The wood-look tile is distressed, resembling the Hueneme Pier, just steps away, and beach pebble tile seems to flow through the lovely tile compositions in every room. The home features a full suite of appliances, including microwave, in-door ice and water in the refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, ceramic cooktop, and full-size in-house stacked washer and dryer.
When you're not on the beach or in the pool, you can recline and watch television or movies on a 50in LCD TV or use our Xbox 360 console. The home is outfitted with wifi throughout, and the television features Netflix, Hulu, HBOGo, and other streaming services via Tivo. The master bath and master bedroom feature in-room music streaming from the TV or iPhone or Android. Relax to soothing tunes in the whirlpool bath bath, while your partner listens to the news in the living room or bedroom.
Need to do a little work while on an extended vacation? In addition to wifi, the condo features wired Ethernet, color laser printing, fax, scanning, and unlimited calling in the US.
The condominium complex is meticulously well kept, with on-site management, ensuring a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing living space, free from the usual beach ruckus. It features two large swimming pools and two in-ground whirlpool baths with tables and chairs provided for relaxation, outdoor eating, or soaking up the sun. One of the pools is heated year-round, and both are heated during the summer months. There is also a clubhouse with a small kitchen and library for entertaining with friends. The neighbors are friendly, helpful, and quiet.
The patio features a lovely view of the beach and pier, and you can listen to the waves rolling onto the shore as you sip a refreshing drink.
The dining table is not shown, but can be set up to seat 6. We typically eat at the kitchen island for easy serving and cleanup, but the dining table and chairs can be quickly set up if desired.
