Haft Sin, Iranian New Year Symbol, Iran 🇮🇷 Haft Sin is a traditional custom in the new year holiday of Iranian known as Nowruz. Actually it is a table setting with 7 different items which its essential items letters start with (Sin-Seen "S"), however there are some items in this table setting which do not start with seen.
"Sib" (Apple), "Sabze" (Grass), "Senjed" (Sea-buckthorn), "Serkeh" (Vinegar), "Samanu": which is a sweat paste made from germinated wheat, "Somaq" (Sumac), "Seer" (Garlic), "Sekkeh" (Coin) (symbol of Wealth), "Sonbol " (Hyacinth), "Sabzi" (Vegetable), "Sepand" (Peganum harmala), each one is a symbol of something.

Chaharshanbe Suri, celebrated in Iran 🇮🇷

Chaharshanbe Suri is an Iranian festival celebrated on the eve of the last Wednesday before Nowruz (the Iranian New Year’s day).
Before the start of the festival, people gather brushwood in an open, free exterior space. At sunset, after making one or more bonfires, they jump over the flames 🔥. This is considered a purificatory practice. Charshanbe Suri includes a custom similar to trick or treating that is literally translated as "spoon-banging". It is observed by people wearing disguises and going door-to-door to hit spoons against plates or bowls and receive packaged snacks.

The smallest tea house ☕️ in the world, Grand bazaar of Tehran, Iran 🇮🇷

Among the thousands of shops that line the labyrinthine alleyways of Tehran's Grand Bazaar sits the Haj Ali Darvish teahouse.
It's not the only teahouse in the bazaar, but having first opened in 1918, it's definitely one of the oldest. And according to some, it's also the smallest -- not just in the bazaar but in the whole world.

Chalus Road (officially called Road 59) is a very beautiful asphalted road located in Chalus, a suburb of Tehran, the Iranian capital. The road becomes dangerous in some points because the narrowness and the mountainous terrain.

This road, which displays a variety of sceneries from green to snow clad surroundings to rocky mountains in the north, is usually open all year, but during winter months, it can be closed when the access is not cleared of snow.

Ali Qapu Palace, Isfahan, Iran 🇮🇷 Ali Qapu is a grand palace in Isfahan, Iran. It is located on the western side of the Naqsh e Jahan Square, opposite to Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, and had been originally designed as a vast portal. It is forty-eight meters high and there are six floors, each accessible by a difficult spiral staircase. In the sixth floor, Music Hall, deep circular niches are found in the walls, having not only aesthetic value, but also acoustic.

Aminiha House, Qazvin, Iran 🇮🇷 Aminiha House and Hosseiniyeh is a beautiful luxurious house in Qazvin which was built in the west of Dezej River by Haj Mohammad Reza Amini, one of wealthy merchants of Qazvin. Later, the river was replaced by Molavi Street in Pahlavi dynasty. Aminiha Hosseiniyeh is a shining example of traditional houses. Today, four yards and various parts have remained on the ground floor and in the basement. This house belongs to Haj Mohammad Reza Amini, a reputable merchant, and a part of it was devoted to Hosseiniyeh in 1275 AH (1858 AD). The most beautiful part of the house consists of three halls parallel with each other which are connected through beautiful Orosis.

Tandooreh National Park, Dargaz, Razavi Khorasan, Iran 🇮🇷 Tandooreh National Park is a protected area located in the north east of Iran, near the city of Dargaz and the Turkmenistan border. The Tandooreh National Park, once a promenade of the Dargaz and Quchan people, has the most beautiful and deepest valleys and slopes and hillsides. It is one of the best wildlife habitats, especially for urials.
The highest point of this area is Qanbar Ali castle in the south, with a height of 2586 meters, and the lowest point is 884 meters in the northern part of the area.

Kesh*t Waterfall, Kerman, Iran 🇮🇷

Kesh*t Waterfall in Kerman is one of the special attractions in Lut desert, 40 km far from the town of Golbaf, in a village called Kesh*t, a green land surrounds you by its beautiful waterfalls and rivers. This is the Lut Desert and it is unbelievable to see such a green valley full of palm trees and citrus trees. The beautiful Kesh*t Waterfall in Kerman, located in the west of the village is a less well-known attraction. The 12 meters high Kesh*t Waterfall falls through the rocks and makes a deep pond. The pool that the locals call it the sea and the children swim in it during the summer to throw off the heat of the desert. Kesh*t Waterfall's pond is about 600 square meters. The river flows from the small and large waterfalls to the heart of desert.

Farah’s Coronation Necklace, Tehran, Iran 🇮🇷 💎♥️ Around her neck, the Empress wore the most splendid diamond and emerald necklace and matching earrings, from the Crown Jewels, ordered at Van Cleef & Arpels for the Coronation, along with the Empress’ Crown but made essentially in Teheran by Pierre Arpels. The necklace, mounted in platinum and gold, is composed by an enormous engraved hexagonal emerald, mounted in pendant and surrounded by diamonds of old cut, of four big square emeralds and five smaller ones, (all surrounded by diamonds), four hanging pear pearls and eleven yellow diamonds of very good size. Her Imperial Majesty wore no tiara and had her hair done to match the exact size of the Empress of Iran’s Crown.
This necklace is currently being kept at the National Jewelry Museum of Iran.

Gheyme Stew, Iran 🇮🇷 The word Gheymeh, literally refers to any meat that is cut into cubes, that is why some people call any stew with cubed meat inside it as Gheymeh.
Khoresht gheymeh is a delicious Persian stew made of diced meat, yellow split peas, saffron, tomato paste and sun dried lime. Khoresht gheymeh is garnished with shoestring fries and served over a bed of fragrant Iranian rice. The sun dried lime, called limoo amani in Farsi, gives this dish its distinct citrusy and earthy flavor that is so authentic of Persian food.

Arak Carpet Bazaar, Arak, Iran 🇮🇷 The plan of this Bazaar unlike the others does not have a free and circular shape! All the paths are regular and have a particular geometric symmetry. The bazaar consists of two paths perpendicular to each other (cross-shaped), north-south and east-west, which break off into a widening, a place that is recognizable by a large stone basin.
This complex includes: the hammam, the mosque, the old school (called Maktab), the water cisterns, the passages and the caravanserais were built at the time of Fathali Shah Qajar in the year 1812.

Kerik Village, Kohgiluyeh-Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran 🇮🇷

The Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province in southwestern Iran with ample of untapped tourism attractions is known as land of four seasons.
The province is mostly mountainous in terrain, part of the Zagros range. The highest point is the Dena summit with a height of 5,109 meters (over 4,000 meters high above the sea level) which is covered with oak forests.
