This video discusses the 20" BMX Tire Foam Insert that was developed by Crawler Innovations in 2018 after watching the summer X Games and seeing so many park riders fail to complete full runs due to flat tires. This tire foam insert was developed so that BMX riders would have the ability to always finish a run with a run flat technology, but more importantly, they can tune the tire pressure to their liking, instead of being forced to run extremely high tire pressures to combat flats. New release from Crawler Innovations The 1" x 3.25" Lil Nova is designed for 1:24 Competition cars using tires ranging in height from 3.75" and smaller. These inserts feature a Standard Cut, gray closed cell inner foam, with a Soft conventional or open cell density outer foam. The closed cell inner foam is super dense, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is extremely durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof. Approximate size: 3.25" Height x 1.125" Width

The Lil’ Nova Dual Stage Foam design is for all high-performance applications where grip and traction are essential. Available in a Soft, Medium, and Firm Outer.

It is recommended for the hobbyist to trim the outer down to their desired needs with sharp scissors.

Crawler Innovations Six Bolt Wheels are a plastic glue on wheel, offered in three different colors, orange, silver, and black. They come in 2 different width sizes, a narrow 1”wheel and a wide 1.50” wheel. These wheels are designed to be used with any SLW hubs. Also these are some really light wheels weighing under 18 grams for a wide Six Bolt wheel. You do not have to worry about breaking a Six Bolt wheels the plastic is very strong and as long as you keep the 6 hub screws tight you won’t strip these wheels out! The Six bolt wheel is also designed to work optimally with the Double Deuce Foam line for 2.2 tires. These are my go to wheels for any 2.2 build whether it’s a 4 lb crawler or a 10 lb ultra4 or even bashing, these wheels are so light that they save axle shafts and servos cause you don’t have so much rotational mass to wear out parts. What a fun day at white oak rc park! Thank you to everyone that came out for the car show and swap meet. Crawler Innovations ended up winning the car show with the winniebago RV Tonka toy that’s from the 1970s, it’s got a tamyia chassis and aluminum axle with lots of custom work to make it drivable. It was great seeing everyone’s rigs!

Have you seen triple stage foams before? These foams start with the heavy weight closed cell inner that is comp cut and radius for the inner bead. The next stage is our signature grey Closed cell foam that is also comp cut. ‘Comp cut’ is the three grooves in the closed cell foam that is machined by hand! The last stage is the conventional outer witch you can choose from 3 different density’s soft, medium, or firm. The triple stage foams come in 2 different sizes a 5.5” size and a larger 6.0” size. These triple stage foams are the pinnacle foams for any 2.2 tire or competition rock crawler. Whether it’s a sporty rig or a moa rig these foams will get the climb done!

Have you seen these foams before? Deuces wild dual stage closed foams are 100% waterproof and great for trailing and crawling. The two close cell foams are comp cut, the grey close cell is the softer foam than the black close cell which we call heavy weight. Combing these two close cell foams you have a dual stage foam that is 100% waterproof, very durable, and can handle heavy rigs. I’ve ran these foams in cars weighing 6 pounds to 10 pounds with no problems. Deuces wild dual stage part number CWR-3201

The lil nova dual stage 1” MT x 3.25” uses the compcut close cell inner from CWR-3027 and a new open cell outer foam to create a dual stage monster truck tire foam. Designed for 1:24 Competition Monster Trucks using tires ranging in height from 3.75” and smaller. The foams measure Approximate size: 3.25”/80mm Height x 1.75” /45mm Width. Some wheels and tires these foams work with Jconcepts Tribute Wheels, Jconcepts Renegades, Jconcepts Golden Years mini monster truck tires, FMS Max Smasher,
These foams can be trimmed down to fit your custom wheel or tire. In order for these foams to work properly you will need to vent the tires with at least 2 holes in the tires, we prefer 3 2mm holes done with a leather hole punch. Working on getting website photos by this weekend.

New product alert!
Single stage closed cell insert for 1/24 monster trucks.

CWR-3027 was designed for use in the 1:24 FMS Smasher Tires, Furitek MT tires, and JConcepts Renegades MT tires all fitting on a 1.0" rim. Approximate size: 2.125" Height x 1.250" Width (Remember that foam goes inside the tire and one must subtract lug and carcass thickness, plus any reinforcing from the overall tire height.) These foams are much firmer than anything available on the market. They do not fold over under load whether it's high speed, heavy weight, or simply turning. These foams rely on a small air gap between the foam and tire. This loose area allows for the tire to obtain traction, while the foam supports the tire. Disclaimer tires must be vented to allow air to pass through tire and allow the foam to work properly. These foams can easily be trimmed to fit other manufacturer 1:24 / micro / SCX24 size MT tires.

Lil Nova Micro foams are back in stock on the Crawler Innovations website, $3.95 for a pair. These Micro Single Stage foams are designed for the tuning of micro tires on 1:24 scale vehicles, such as the Axial SCX24, the ECX 1:24 Temper, the 1:25 Proline Ambush and similar size and weight micro crawlers. These foams will fit all of the RC4WD micro tires.

These inserts feature a standard conventional or open cell density foam cut entirely from our Firm Outer Foam Material. This conventional foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof.

Approximate size: 2.0" Height x 1.75" Width

The foam is sold extra wide on purpose to allow the end user to trim the foam width wise, to tune or soften the foam for traction control.

Medium tire is starting at 7pm to 9.30pm. Competition 4x4 is starting at 10pm. We will have some lights on the course, but we recommend you have a flashlight and lights on your rc car. We hope to see you out their!
