Are you curious about robots? A robot installation is coming to Swindon this half-term! The Mechanical Bloom Lab will be open for you to meet our live performance robots and see just how they work.

We’ll be in Swindon’s Designer Outlet (Look out for Dune - we're next to it), arriving on Sunday 11 Feb and staying until Thursday, including a talk with the creative team on Monday 12th.

An adventurous festival of contemporary music and arts in The Hague, Netherlands, we're thrilled to be amongst such exciting company. Yes, we're taking Last and First Men to Rewire 2024!

A futuristic story of a race of humans that finds itself on the verge of extinction, you'll spend an hour being transported to a world quite unlike our own.

Neon Dance: Last and First Men
Tickets now available…

A future race of humans finds itself on the verge of extinction. Almost all that’s left in the world are lone and surreal monuments, beaming their message into the wilderness.

Based on the ground-breaking 1930 novel by Olaf Stapledon, Last and First Men (2020) concluded the beautiful career of the Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson. As part of Festival of Tomorrow, Neon Dance presents a stunning and unique contemporary dance performance set to the backdrop of Johann Jóhannsson’s 16mm black and white film, with narration from Tilda Swinton and original score composed by Jóhannsson and Yair Elazar Glotman. Featuring choreography from Adrienne Hart and costume design from the award winning Ana Rajcevic and Mikio Sakabe with performances from Fukiko Takase, Kelvin Kilonzo & Makiko Aoyama.
