Try a flight in Colorado Springs. Fantastic backdrop of the mountains, huge variety of beer, fantastic food trucks, the coolest chairs I've seen and green space! They even have games you can borrow to play and just plenty of room to laugh, chill and listen to music. This was a great way to relax after conquering The Incline the day before!

THE Manitou Incline. The most grueling mile in Colorado Springs. 2768 Steps - nearly straight up - 2000ft in elevation in under a mile. But those views tho! Challenge yourself!

Our first time to climb it together. We are gonna try to do it again in October, maybe go all the way to the top of Pikes next time - follow us for that adventure and more. Who else has done this!?

Wake up with the sun and go for a walk with me. Rita, the troll, helps hikers in Victor, CO, by filling in dangerous holes with rocks. The landscape is breathtaking. SO much to see and hike in this little town rich with history, mines, historical stops and more.

And it's a beautiful drive to get here from our condo - why wait?

We think this is a MUST SEE in Colorado Springs if you like art. It's a mini sculpture museum and the detail this guy does is remarkable!
The Michael Garman Museum and Gallery in OCC right by where they do the farmers market, which is a really great one!

You can look in the windows of the little mini buildings and see all the detail of how people used to live. Just a really unique art display that was fun to see. Either peek in the lobby at dozens of displays and statues or take the full tour.

One more thing to do when you visit Colorado Springs!

The Big Dam Bridge.... despite the controversy of the name that the locals on the trail told me about, it's an amazing place to run! The longest pedestrian bridge in the world. I saw it from my drive to the post and just had to find it. Wow! Did not disappoint. It leads to this adorable island and a few miles of running trails and picnic tables and benches.
