My husband and I had the most magical time at Walt Disney World for our anniversary!

We enjoyed several special dining experiences, which I will share more in depth about individually, we got to ride the rides that our kiddos aren’t tall enough for yet (including newer ones like Tron, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure), stopped at all the photo pass photographers we came across (highly recommend adding the memory maker to your package to be able to download all of your pictures), and ate all the snacks we wanted and didn’t have to share with our kiddos.
We did all 4 parks three days straight, but I do not recommend that. I would normally have a rest day between park days, but for our trip, we did the first part of our trip at Disney World and then spent the rest of the week relaxing at Daytona Beach.
What I do highly recommend is a pedicure (or massage at the Grand Floridian Spa! We had the most relaxing experience and it was the best pedicure I’ve ever had!

Happy 626 Stitch Day!

Stitch is one of my favorite characters! He’s just such an adorable little monster.
But I guess there’s also a sentimental aspect attached to him for me. The Lilo & Stitch movie first released to theaters around my 6th birthday and the main event of my birthday party was going to the theatre with a handful of my friends to see the movie. And then later when the movie released to DVD, my Granny who has since passed away, gave me the DVD.

I guess it’s been a while since I’ve seen Stitch in the parks because the only picture I could find of me with him is when we were at Tokyo Disney Sea in February 2020. Maybe I can change that when my husband and I go to Disney World for our anniversary in a couple weeks!

New Updates to Genie+ service on both the My Disney Experience app and the Disneyland app starting July 24. The updates sound like a major improvement to me. What do you think?

Today is opening day of Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort!!

You can see all your favorite Pixar characters up close and personal and also in the parade!
You can also meet some newer favorites like Luca, Alberto, Ember, Wade, Barley, and Ian!

The festival runs from April 26 through August 4!

There is a fun festival starting today at the Disneyland Resort!

The Food and Wine Festival will be hosted in the California Adventure Park from March 1- April 22, 2024

During the festival, your whole family will get to delight in a smorgasbord of delicious dishes, all while experiencing the attractions, entertainment and Characters that are included with admission to Disney California Adventure Park.
Whether you’re a seasoned home gourmet or simply eager to glean pro tips and tricks, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival serves up heaping helpings of culinary fun for all!

Special happenings for the festival include: •Soarin’ Over California- experience the sights and smells of California as your soar over landmarks of California
•Meet Chef Goofy
•Watch the Jammin Chefs perform
•Confection Purrfection with Superkitties
•Pick delicious culinary treats from 10 booths around the park
There will be more than 80 new items around the park as well as a new booth!

My husband and I were able to go enjoy the festival last year! We got 2 Sip n’ Savor passes (but didn’t use all the tabs even though we had a lot of food. We ended up using the rest the next week when we came again) and enjoyed as many tasty treats as we could! The Sip n’ Savor pass helps you save money but does not have to be purchased to enjoy food from the booths. I will make another post with more details about the Sip n’ Savor Pass.

Hey friends! I’m so excited to get started on my journey of being a Disney travel agent with Smart Moms Travel! I’m still working toward being a certified travel agent, but if you have any future traveling you’d like to do, we could go ahead and start preliminary talks about travel plans!

So let me introduce myself ☺️ My name is Brooke, I’m originally from South Carolina, I’m a Marine Corps spouse to my husband of almost 7 years, a Mom to 2 sweet little girls, and we have 2 fur-babies as well.
I was raised on Disney movies. I can remember watching Mulan or Pocahontas on VHS and then rewinding it to watch it again! I went to Disney World a few times as a kid (we took our camper a couple times and stayed at the Disney World campground; then when my parents became Wyndham Vacation owners, we started staying at the Bonnet Creek Resort all the times since then) and have been a handful of times since, but my last trip was in 2018. The first time I visited Disneyland was on mine and my husband’s honeymoon in 2017. I’ve been to Disneyland at least 10 other times since then while we lived in California when my husband was stationed there. I love the nostalgia of Disneyland with it being the first ever Disney Park and I think it might be my favorite. While my husband was stationed in Japan, we lived there from 2018 to 2021 and we had the opportunity to visit the parks in Tokyo and Hong Kong! These parks are so fun and unique! I hope to make it back to these parks some day again as there have been several updates to the parks since we visited (and I was pregnant with our first baby when we visited Hong Kong so I couldn’t ride a lot of the rides). I also hope to visit the Disney parks in Paris, France and Shanghai, China someday!
It is a big goal I hope to accomplish of visiting all of the Disney Parks! I may have to visit them all over again being that they all change and add things over time though!
I’m so excited to share all the magic of Disney with you as I visit the parks and as I help you with your travel plans as well!

It’s National Plan a Vacation Day!

I’m just realizing that this is a holiday since I’m starting my travel agent journey and decided to look up the history behind it.
It seems that this national day was created in about 2015 when after a national survey was taken, it was found that Americans were not taking their vacation days. So we celebrate this day on the last Tuesday in January so that we can start looking ahead at the year and plan out our vacations.
Vacations help people spend quality time with friends and family, improve mental well-being, and can reignite love sparks!

The amount of vacation days that go unused by Americans each year is at least 705 million! That’s so much time you could be spending on exploring new places, having the time of your life, and making lifelong memories with friends and family. This year, I want to ensure you don’t miss a moment! So let’s help you take a vacation and make some magic!
