【Concierge menu started!!】

We started concierge menu recently.

I know the tourists visit Japan in order not to sleep here but enjoy traveling. We have been providing only house to our guests but I don't believe it's enough for them.

I always see guests directly and hear their experience in Tokyo. They sometimes feel inconvenience during their stay. For example, poor internet connection, transportation from airport, or expensive tours to Mt.Fuji etc.

We would like to help them.

We can find the best plans with nice price because we live here. Please feel free to contact us if anything you want to do in Japan.

The detailed menu is not in public now, will be disclosed only to guests who booked us. Please contact us for details.

Have a wonderful day!!

Dee

【Rush hours in Tokyo】

Hello guests, this is Dee.

It's Monday. One of our guests reported he experienced the incredible train rush hours.

If you visit Tokyo with kids, this should be well noted. It's terrible to take trains in rush hours.

The weekday rush hours peak between 8am and 9am in the morning, and shortly after 5pm in the evening.

Morning rush hours tend to be more concentrated and heavier than evening rush hours.

Rush hours are most extreme in Tokyo, but can also be pretty heavy in Japan's other major cities. There are no business rush hours on weekends and on public holidays.

During the morning rush hours, the traffic volume on certain urban and suburban trains is so intense that passengers are pressed against each other to a degree where they are unable to move.

In railway stations, passenger streams have to be neatly organized by signs, lanes and station personnel in order to keep everybody moving.

It is recommended to avoid the morning rush hours if possible, especially when traveling with luggage or small children.

We got used but still not comfortable. Please take a look what made the biggest city in Japan.

【Earthquake】

Hello guests, this is Dee.

We felt a shaking last night. We experience earthquake in Tokyo sometimes not often.

Some guests experienced earthquakes. It was not serious. They all said ”we are lucky to have greetings from Japan”.

But it's possible to have a big earthquake in Tokyo in a few year.

It's most dangerous to be wounded by falling furniture not shaking itself. In our guest house, nothing is possible to falling down.

When you feel shaking, please cover yourself under the desk and hold it.

We will guide you in emergency. Please keep in touch with us during your stay.

Enjoy!!

【Manners on Train】

Hello guests, this is Dee.

The new year holiday ended yesterday. We start working on 4th Jan.

You will see a lot of tired people sleeping on train and bus in Tokyo and hear the announce「車内では携帯電話の電源を切るかマナーモードに設定いただき、通話はお控えください。」that means "please switch off your mobile or turn on silent mode. Do not talk on the phone. Thank you for your corporation".

I always feel strange because I saw people enjoy talking on the phone in train and bus in other countries.

I think Japanese work very hard every day. We have a common sense that trains and buses are semi-private room to relax and sleep. Other deligent people will read books and study something to pass the exam.

They don't want to be disturbed their private time.

Please give your corporation to keep quiet and care Japanese great workers during your stay in Tokyo. It might be interesting to watch people on trains.
