We are an online travel company which is seeking to offer unique experiences by visiting the off the track spots. Join us and you'll never forget it!

Who hasn't had a long adventure or voyage, usually marked by many changes of fortune? The paths that we take in our lives, and especially the different countries and cultures that we see along the way, inspired us to name our company Odisea (Odyssey in English). We are two people who grew up in two different parts of the world (Spain and Argentina), and we lived our lives in the way we were suppo

sed to. We studied a career, got a master degree and started to work for companies that didn't really fulfill us. What really made us feel free and complete was traveling. So after a few months living in Chiang Mai we decided that it was time to change our lifestyle. We quit our office jobs and started to work hard for our dreams. We believe that fulfilling travel experiences begin not only with choosing the right destination (and not just visit the touristic places), but enjoying every single moment of it, and we're here to help people make more enlightening stops along the way. But what does that mean, exactly? It means helping them have more fun dreaming and planning by offering up trip and destination ideas that will overcome your expectations...

Today is the first day of the fabulous celebrations of Songkran! Traditionally Thai New Year, Songkran derives from Sanskrit meaning 'shift' or 'movement'.
The holiday is known for its water festival. in all the cities major streets are closed to traffic and are used as arenas for water fights 💦

Originally inhabited solely by Sea Gypsies, Koh Lipe is the most Southern island in Thailand. On a clear day, you can clearly see Langkawi Island in Malaysia, which is just 30 km away. It’s part of the Tarutao National Marine Park, a nature reserve established in 1974 as Thailand’s Second National Park. 🏖

If you happen to be anywhere in Thailand on the 15th of September, we would love you to join us in this World Cleanup Day. Please share the message and invite people to take part in this event.

Together we are stronger!

Where? On every street in Thailand, every district, every school, every university, business, pub, and on every beach…
We challenge school communities to clean their school and surrounding areas as part of this massive project. We challenge universities and all faculties to come together and make their campuses beautiful. Hospitals, Government Departments, Churches, District Offices and Foundations also need to join this activity.

We challenge you to play your part, to understand the magnitude of waste management and disposal.

Some Thai Buddhists are getting upset that Buddha’s image is being taken in vain by “foreigners” who, they say, see it as a philosophical and not a religious symbol, and don’t give Buddha the respect he deserves. Although is not illegal under Thai law, you should not get a Buddha’s tattoo below your waist as Thais consider the head sacred and the feet profane. Take our advice: don’t use Buddha as a decorative object, such as a statue in the middle of a table. Don’t wear his image on the pocket of your jeans, or on your shoes.
