You'll also find trout in nearby mountain lakes, rivers and streams. Just a short drive away, the Arkansas River features some of the country's best white water rafting. The climate is ideal - cool, clear and mostly dry in the winter, warm in the summer, and sunny nearly all year-round. Fall is most beautiful of all with the spun-gold aspens and the first snow crowning the big range.
Moose Manor is owned by John and Trudy Roesch. In April of 2018 John and Trudy made the decision to sell one of their irrigated farms in Southeast Colorado and purchase a home in the mountains where they could spend time with their children and grandchildren. After looking at several properties the searched ended on the deck of this home with an amazing view of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range.
Moose Manor is named in memory of their grandson Kent who was taken from us in an auto accident on Thanksgiving 2016 at the age of 27. Kent served in the United States Army and proudly defended our country while stationed in Iraq. He loved the great outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved everything Moose and we will always cherish the joy and love he brought to our family.
