Yesterday we made our way to Port Lincoln. On our way we decided to stop in Tumby Bay as a person on our travels recommended it. We stopped at the bakery and what an amazing place, it was very hard to make a decision.
Josh has been asked by the local Baptist church if he can preach on Sunday, so we will be staying here for a bit longer.

Yesterday we made our way from Whyalla south, we found an amazing free waterpark at Cowell where the kids had a great time. We then moved on to our campsite right by the beach. We all had a great time exploring and hanging out on the beach.

Wednesday and Thursday night we tried Mt Little Station and what an amazing experience! They had pizza night at the pizza shop by the homestead Wednesday night, there we got to meet a few more traveling families and some more grey nomads. We had the best pizza and some great company. Thursday we got to feed some of their animals and explore, walking along a creek bed to go and find the pirates treasure in a cave.

Over the weekend we had the privilege to spend some time with our new friends in Wallaroo, swimming, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding! We all had the best time having a little break away from the caravan.
Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to them this morning as they continue their well earned break and we move on to our next adventure.

Thursday last week the girls and I (Andrea) got to explore Bungaree station outside of Clare. The girls enjoyed seeing all of the different things on the farm and how they have changed over the years. I just love all the old buildings and their architecture.

Today we went to Monarto Safari Park, if you are ever around Adelaide it is worth a stop. The girls loved seeing all of the different animals and listening to the talks to learn more about them. To me it was a little more taste of home. Thank you for the recommendation Alta Huyser!

On Sunday we made our way to Adelaide, where we enjoyed going to Christian Family Centre. This is a special church to some people who are very special to us and have been a part of our journey over the last few years. We then checked in to the Big 4 West beach, where we spent some time on the beach and enjoying the activities at the park. Today we visited Hahndorf and explored all the interesting shops in the little town.

Today on our travels we made an impromptu stop at the Shell Motorsport Park. We had a look at all the nice cars on display and got to see some cars race around the track! Josh had a great time, while the girls thought it was too noisy 😆 It was a great experience! We are spending the night in Langhorne Creek and making our way to Adelaide tomorrow.

Sorry for all the posts but we don’t always have enough service for me to post😬😆
Yesterday we got to explore the Naracoorte caves, the girls loved exploring the caves and the museum. Reading about how the caves formed and about the fossils they have found around the area.
We stayed at Cockatoo lake, where the girls had a swim (too cold for mum and dad😂) and we saw lots of Cockatoos.
Tonight we are staying at Lake Indawarra, unfortunately no swimming tonight.

Wednesday night we stayed in a small town called Kalangadoo, what a great little town. There we met a man named Peter that is running the museum. He offered us a special tour and we got to hear all about their history and how the town has changed over the years. He was generous with his time and enjoyed sharing about the town. The museum is in the old railway station and definitely worth a look if anyone ever goes through there.

We have been in Mt Gambier since Friday, catching up with some friends we haven’t seen for a few years. We took this time to stop and do a few jobs in and around the van. There are lots to see and explore here and the girls are enjoying making friends and even watching a few tennis games.

We made our way to Warrnambool yesterday, stopping in at the Cheese World museum and cafe. There were some really great volunteers that had a great time showing the girls how all the old things worked, even letting them have a go too the girls loved it.
We then parked up at a caravan park for the first time and decided to extend our stay to 2 nights as there are too much to see and do in just one day here.
We saw Middle island, the island that inspired the movie Oddball and we got to see a Koala in the wild, a first for all of us.

We moved on today, went to church in Colac before moving on to a free camp spot in Panmure. What a little gem, it has it...

We moved on today, went to church in Colac before moving on to a free camp spot in Panmure. What a little gem, it has its own swimming hole with a diving board, the girls were super excited and that made up for the cold water😂 They tried to convince me that swimming can be their PE lesson for tomorrow.

Yesterday we slowed things down and only traveled a short distance to Winchelsea, we found a great camping spot just behind the pub. This morning we went for a walk to explore the town and get a few things from the shop. After doing some schoolwork, we went for a drive and made our way to the Great Ocean road. At Anglesea we explored the beach and got to make castles and collect seaweed😂. I have found it hard to slow down and not wanting to race everywere to get things done😔. Starting to get the hang of it slowly.

For today’s adventure we changed over the canvas on the awning🥴 Turned out pretty good.

On Monday we made our way to Geelong. We are having a great time hanging out with some family! We also bumped into a friend from Brisbane unexpectedly. Here for a few more nights before continuing our trip west.

Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to them this morning as they continue their well earned break and we move on to our next adventure.

Stopped in Echuca for church this morning and then made our way to Elmore where we stopped for lunch. The girls noticed the museum and wanted to check it out. They got to learn about the history of the town and the history of combine harvesters. Driving through Bendigo was an experience with the caravan in tow. We have now parked up at Mt Franklin reserve for the night before we make our way to Geelong to see family tomorrow.
