A huge gift for ISA, Universidad de las Artes is in the works thanks to the Italian government. The funds will be used to renovate and restore the original theater at ISA as well as providing funding for programs and events. This donation follows the recent grant from the Getty Foundation.

The University of Arts of Cuba / Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) will be on the receiving end of funding from the Getty Foundation to updates its buildings. The unique architecture of ISA has suffered over the last 50+ years from flooding and erosion. This grant will allow for much needed updates and the conservation of this beautiful landmark and school.

The Getty Foundation announces its 2018 Keeping It Modern grant recipients; the architectural conservation funds reach some countries for the first time, including Cuba and Lebanon.

Last week, Cuba was awarded the safest country for tourism at the International Tourism Fair! We have always told our travelers to use common sense and that Cuba is a safe country to visit. Apparently, we're not the only ones who feel that way... 🇨🇺️
