At 21, I started working as an engineer in this big company in Manila, Philippines. At 25, I experienced my first international trip as a solo backpacker to Malaysia. Went to Bangkok for a one-day school field trip today. Here at the National Museum in Bangkok, I've learned more about the fascinating world of Thailand's rich history and culture which primarily revolves around buddhism and the royal heritage.

I love what they've done to this park in BangPhra, Chonburi. It has a pretty big space with stunning ocean views. You can ride a bike, scooter, and skateboard here. Yeah, there is a dedicated ground for skateboarding that kids love to play. This place also has a lot of food shops with reasonable prices. Perfect for a picnic day or just a chill day by the sea, this spot has it all!

Exactly 4 years ago today, I jetted off with just two carry-ons to Thailand. So consider this as my anniversary post, I guess 😜

Posting this today to remind myself how I escaped the worldwide chaos of lockdowns and eventually found a refuge on this Land of Smile as they call it.

These past 4 years have been a wild ride - equal parts challenging and incredible. Thailand gave me the space to breathe, reflect, and prioritize my well-being. It's been a chance to rewrite my story, explore a new path, and discover a future I never imagined!

This isn't just a vacation, it's a whole new chapter. Thailand - you're not just a place, you're home 🏠.

You can find this floating market on the island (more like an artificial island) called Bang Ka Chao situated at the southern border of Bangkok. This island is sometimes referred to as the "oasis" of Bangkok, so much greeneries on this area. Perfect for people who love nature and cyclists as well.

Been doing calisthenics for over half a year now (on and off though) together with gym's weight training. So far so good! Working out is one of things I did to cope with boredom and depression to some extent as well as my nomadic lifestyle during the covid times.

Coming from the beach, here is one of #Songkran attacks I had to go through in walking down the sidewalk! I can't really escape them since they're on my way so why not film it and see if I can make it through without getting myself wet. As expected, I didn't make it! I kept shouting "nidnoi nidnoi" which means "just a little!" but it's SONGKRAN! Love them or just love them! 😂 So go out, have fun and get yourself wet! 💦😂😂😂. After all, it's the famous Songkran festival of Thailand! 😘😘🇹🇭

Boat Racing happening today along the Mekong River! 📍 Vientiane, Laos

That exact moment of crossing the Thailand-Laos border along the Mekong River via railway train from Nong Khai station to Thanaleng station. Nong Khai (border town in Thailand) Thanaleng (border town in Laos) 🚂🚂🚂 >> Nong Khai to Thanaleng >> 15 minutes >> 20 baht

Bangkok’s road traffic is really bad on a Friday night so I decided so take the BTS metro train instead of my usual love for buses! 😆 So here is a clip of the train arriving at Phra Khanong station. And in case you are missing the train in Bangkok—let me just say “Satanni Topai Satanni”. 😜 Does this ring a bell?

Pigeons are all over the place here at the famous Thaphae Gate of Chiangmai. I will miss you, ChiangMai! 🥺 PS: I was just randomly passing by the Thaphae today and said to myself ‘why not take some pics today a day before I leave this city.’ Hope everyone is having a pinky Wednesday just like me! 🌸 😛
