One thing about nature, it can surprise you at any moment with something fabulous. I just happened upon these two and they seemed comfortable with my presence. You never know what you'll see on a hike and I'd be glad to assist your Appalachian wilderness adventure. hikemtn.com
Winter treks are fun too! Sometimes bizarre events can happen. This Appalachian Trail hike started soon after a cold rain. The cloud deck at the top of the ridge flowed into the valley while we hiked up, ghostly wisps passing us by. What an effect! Come do your own Appalachian hike. Rainy Camp - Sunny Hike - Dragons Tooth
Remember Hurricane Mathew? Although our Appalachian region was spared the brunt of the storm, we did receive ample rains in inches. A camping/hiking excursion was scheduled to launch near storm's end, and we never disappoint! Setting up a primitive camp is never easy, but with running water under-foot and rain, the job becomes a battle. I thank all those members that pitched in to help. The camp and hike to Dragons Tooth the next day, filled with sunshine, turned out to be an exciting success! Rely on us for committed service to maximize your wilderness adventure.
