Qantas Airways recently launched a non-stop service from London to Perth Australia. This is the only non stop service between the UK & Australia. The flight takes some 16 hours which shaves off approx 5 hours of a typical one stop service. Business class fares start at £4,600.00.

SimoSim Travel Tip

When looking to book a scheduled flight make sure you are travelling with your intended or booked Airline. Some carriers work together as an alliance and work on agreements referred to as "Code Share" flights.

As an example if booking a flight on the British Airways Website from London Heathrow to NewYork JFK you will be presented with multiple departure options and on some of these options you may in fact be travelling on a different airline like American Airlines - but it won't be obvious.

If this is the case and something goes wrong, ie you miss a flight, cancellation or baggage issues you will find it harder to resolve your overall issue than travelling with the intended airline.
