Good morning ☀️

Check out this beautiful sunrise at sea just off the coast of Cuba 🇨🇺 this morning. My thoughts and prayers go up for those affected by the hurricanes 🙏🏼 Our cruise has been extended by at least one day due to Hurricane Milton so we’ve been very slowly making our way up the coast of Cuba since yesterday. As of now, the plan is to port early tomorrow in Miami. I am thankful Royal Caribbean made the decision to keep us out to sea for an extra day to avoid the storms and rough waters. It’s been a very busy (productive) cruise but I loved getting to sit out my balcony this morning with no schedule or agenda & nothing to do except enjoy the extra sunrise over the water 🌄 these pics were taken from 6:30am to 8:05am EST (ship time) 💜☺️

Good morning 😃

Due to Hurricane Milton, today’s port was changed from Cozumel, Mexico to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic! 🌊 ⛈️ We had plenty of notice & were able to change our excursion. So instead of snorkeling, we are going up Isabel de Torres Mountain to the famous Christ statue & then exploring several other areas around Puerto Plata City ⛰️✝️⛪️

Cruise lines reserve the right to change an itinerary at any time but we are thankful to be avoiding the storm & for the beautiful weather here today!! 🛳️ ☀️

I’ll be headed to Jamaica this Saturday!! One of the requirements for entry into Jamaica is to show proof of a negative Covid test results within 72 hours of arrival. People often ask me how “bad” this test is because you also have to have one for reentry back into the USA. This test is very quick & easy - less than 15 seconds, see the video below of my test today 😉 I sat up an appointment online for 8:05am and was out the door with my negative results before 8:30am.
