Cathedral Rock and Oak Creek (Infrared) ©2018 James D Peterson. A classic view of this stunning Sedona landmark was captured under unusual conditions - early in the morning on a smoky day (due to wildfires in the region). My infrared camera adds its own accents to this scene.

Native American Indian Arts and Crafts Show, this Sunday, September 2nd, at Arabella Hotel Sedona. Hopi artists, Devlin Tsuhoya Polelonema will be at the show with beautiful skateboards that tell the story of friendship and harmony. Justin Tuhisah Polelonema Kashina Dolls are carved out of cottonwood as well as earrings and pendants. Ivan Polelonema is a textile weaver making sashes, belts and other clothes. Perhaps he will bring his loom, I can't wait. Show time is 9:00 am until 1:00 pm

Wonderful dinner at J Wine Bistro. Pairing of wine and food, outstanding, and so was the service. Loved the seared scallops with pancetta. Atmosphere was so relaxing. Only 15 minute drive from Arabella Hotel.
