P is for Pixie Dust 🧚
Want to add a little extra pixie dust to your visit? Sir Mickey’s is just behind Cinderella’s castle. Ask a cast member if the Fairy Godmother has any extra pixie dust, then close your eyes and make a wish!! ✨🪄 There is no charge!!

“O” is for Overstimulated!!
As the parent of a neurodivergent child I am always looking for ways to help him enjoy our Disney trips. Finding places like Aunt Polly’s Gazebo on Tom Sawyer Island that are secluded and quiet is magic to help when he’s become overstimulated.
Here are a few other spots at Magic Kingdom:

“N” is for Never Go Thirsty!!
We all know how warm the days get in Florida and with all the walking you’re doing at the park it’s important to stay hydrated. Stop by any of the quick-service restaurants and ask for some iced 🧊water!! There are also lots of places around the parks to refill your water bottles!

“M” is for Memory Maker!!
This is one of those big tips we give families, get the Memory Maker!!
What’s included?
Over 100 locations for photo ops which include iconic spots at all the parks! There are also photo ops at the attractions and even at character meet and greets! Take your pictures, scan your Magic Band and your pictures will be on your My Disney Experience app automatically!! You have 45 days after your trip to download your photos and videos.
My family personally had an amazing experience with one of these wonderful photographers that took some amazing photos of my son to celebrate his adoption in front of the castle at Magic Kingdom with his balloon and Mickey ears!! Get the Memory Maker!!!

“L” is for Lucky!!
At the Main Street U.S.A. Fire Station you will find Lucky and some other furry friends from 101 Dalmatians! You can also find patches from heroes from around the world.

“K”’is for King 👑 Triton!!
Right across from Under the Sea- Journey of the Little Mermaid in Fantasyland you will find a nice shaded area inspired by King Triton. There is even an area where the kids could play tic-tac-toe, there are drawings of King Triton and places nearby to get some yummy snacks!!
It’s also an amazing picture spot where you could get a picture with Ariel 🧜♀️ herself and nautical ⚓️ themed pictures!!

“J” is for Jungle Cruise!
A classic and iconic ride located in Adventureland. Try catching this ride either early in the morning or at the end of the night for lower wait times!!

“I” is for Inflatable Balloons!! 🎈
This is a Classic Disney Souvenir!! They come in all shapes, sizes, and characters!! Although they are pretty durable, a tip for keeping these longer would be to tie them to your stroller.

“H” is for Harmony Barbershop 💈
Located on Main St, USA and offer services for kids and adults. They offer a “My first haircut” experience which includes the haircut, Mickey ears hat, milestone certificate and a keepsake lock of hair.
For the adults they offer an old fashioned haircut and shave! Reservations are strongly recommended but they do have same day walk in appointments available (be there when they open at 9am for a better chance at getting in).

“G” is for Gaston’s Tavern!!
Gaston’s Tavern serves these yummy “man-sized” cinnamon rolls along with other yummy snacks!! They are also well known for a signature non-alcoholic drink called LeFou’s Brew which is quite refreshing especially on those hot Florida days!! Both of these are Dining Plan Eligible!!
This yummy eating spot can be found in the back corner of Fantasyland! Or just follow the smells!

“F” is for Freeze Dried Skittles!! 🌈
This is an innovative new trend, I love how Disney is always keeping pace with their treats!!
These colorful and yummy treats can be found at Main Street Confectionery and Storybook Treats! Watch for it, it’s a skittles takeover!!

There are so many forms of entertainment at Magic Kingdom.

“D” is for Driver Swap 🏁🏎️
This is for Tommorowland Speedway if you have two children that want to drive the race car. You just have to ask the cast member before you get into you car for a purple flag and they will put it on your car. Once your first child 🏎️ goes around the track once you don’t have to get back in line or even get out of the car! The cast member will see the flag and allow your 2nd child 🏎️ to drive!

“C” is for Celebration 🎉 Buttons!
Whether you’re celebrating a birthday 🥳, wedding 💒 anniversary, engagement 💍, first visits, graduation 🎓, just married 👰♀️, adoptions, or any other celebration 🎊! They can be found at guest relations, the front desk at your resort, and some of the larger shopping stores.
Get your celebration button on your arrival day and wear it the duration of your stay so that everyone can celebrate with you!

“B” is for Baby Care Center. The one at Magic Kingdom is located between Casey’s Corner and The Crystal Palace. These are wonderful areas at each theme park with air conditioning and a quiet space where you can care for your little one.

Today we begin with the ABC’s of Magic Kingdom. Over the next 26 days we’re going to feature some tips, tricks and hidden gems! First up… A!
“A” is for Access!! Staying on Magic Kingdom resort property has many conveniences such as getting to the parks via the monorail 🚝, on a boat 🛥️ , or on walking 🚶♂️ paths. Some added perks are going through security before entering the park and being able to watch Happily Ever After 🎆 from the beach at your resort.
There are five resorts on Magic Kingdom resort property around the Bay Lake area:
