Cambodia is one constantly surprising country to travel in.​ The people have experienced such hardship and trauma, but are some of the most warm people you'll meet. Angkor Wat and the other temples around Siem Reap get a lot of the attention, and for sure they are show-stoppers and a must-see! But on a trip like this one, it's the little interactions with people in a market, the local chef showing you how to make amok, the Buddhist monk receiving your donation, the young waiter undergoing hospitality training at an NGO and your female TukTuk driver who makes a living for her family by driving visitors like us around! These are the parts of a trip in Cambodia that really stay with you and make you fall in love with the country!

It's the longest trip I've put together and it's jam packed full of highlights and less visited destinations. So many amazing activities from kayaking in Lan Ha Bay, to cycling through the rice paddies in Ninh Binh to floating down a river in Pu Luong on a bamboo raft! A big focus of the conference was educating us all about the impacts of modern slavery and human trafficking.

The figures are certainly confronting with 50 million people victims of modern slavery worldwide and with 80% of these being women and girls.

It was wonderful to meet some amazing humans doing incredible work - including and .jewelry - Eden Foundation Australia Ltd.

Michelle Kerr, General Manager of Eden Australia Ltd , whose organisation actively saves women in Myanmar who have been trafficked and provides them with jewellery making skills so that they can create their own income.

Michael Brosowski, Founder of Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation , whose organisation rescues children who have been trafficked in Vietnam, and assists street kids to return to safe homes and education.
