Back to where it all started. Long Post Alert!! It is almost thirty years since I took my first ever flight from Birmingham Airport. A big thing to do by myself. Young, nervous and not knowing what to expect, I landed in Frankfurt. When calling mum to inform of my safe arrival, I told her ‘ I can’t wait to come home’. This was simply because I had fallen in love with flying, the atmosphere in the airport and all things travel and I couldn’t wait to board a plane again. Today, I am lucky enough to be leaving sunny Herefordshire for a sunny working break in Tenerife. The smile on my face is the biggest you are likely to see.
